OUR STORY: The Reaction Lab

The Reaction Lab was built from the ground up by only a couple people who live and work inside the film industry. We are not a large corporation or a faceless platform. We are a couple of working professionals who care deeply about the community we come from and the people trying to find their way into it.

This platform started with a simple idea: access should not be gatekept. Breaking into film, especially the action side of the business, has always been difficult. Information is scattered, mentorship is rare, and real guidance often comes only after years of trial and error. We wanted to change that by creating a place where knowledge, experience, and tools could be shared openly with those who are serious about learning and growing.

Our goal is to support both newcomers trying to break in and professionals already working who want to sharpen their skills, expand their understanding, or adapt as the industry evolves. Everything we build is rooted in real world experience and shaped by the needs of the community itself.

The Reaction Lab is designed as a growing resource for the global film community, starting with action, stunts, and physical storytelling, and expanding outward as we grow. Each new section, tool, and piece of content exists because there is a genuine need for it and because our members asked for it.

We are growing organically, alongside the people who support us. As our membership grows, so does our ability to add new resources, expand into new areas, and bring in more voices from across the industry. This is a shared space built with intention, care, and respect for the craft.

At its core, The Reaction Lab exists to help people move forward. To make the path clearer. To lower barriers of entry. To give back to the community that gave so much to us. And to keep building something meaningful together.
