Buster Reeves
Buster Reeves is a world champion martial artist and veteran stunt professional whose career spans over two decades of elite work in film and television. Born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England, Reeves began training in Wado-Ryu karate at age 11 and quickly distinguished himself as a prodigy in the martial arts world. By age 13, he had broken a Guinness World Record for most head-height kicks in a minute. He would go on to win multiple world titles in Ju-Jitsu across three weight divisions before transitioning into the film industry.
Since joining the British Stunt Register in 1999, Reeves has worked as a stunt performer, coordinator, and second unit director on some of the biggest action projects in Hollywood. His credits include The Dark Knight Rises, Troy, Jason Bourne, Mission: Impossible III, Clash of the Titans, The Mummy Returns, Terminator Salvation, and War of the Worlds. He served as Christian Bale’s stunt double in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and worked closely with stars like Brad Pitt and Sam Worthington in high-stakes, physically demanding roles.
On television, Reeves was the stunt coordinator for Game of Thrones Season 1 and currently serves as the Supervising Stunt Coordinator on Amazon Prime’s Reacher, helping define the show’s grounded, brutal action style. His additional TV credits include Treadstone, Westworld, and The Librarians, where he has also contributed as a second unit director.
Reeves’ work has earned him multiple industry accolades, including Taurus World Stunt Awards and SAG Awards for Best Stunt Ensemble. Known for his precision, leadership, and authenticity, Buster Reeves remains a defining figure in the world of cinematic action.
